Healing is not the absence of disease — it is the return to one's deepest, most natural state. Through personalised yoga therapy, we work together with your body, breath, and mind.

Yoga is the cessation of the fluctuations of the mind. — Patanjali
About Avinash
I am Avinash Mishra — a therapeutic yoga practitioner. Unlike fitness-based yoga, my practice is clinically oriented: each session is uniquely designed for your condition, your constitution, and your pace of healing.
I do not work from a studio. I come to you — at home, virtually, or at your workplace — because healing happens best in familiar, comfortable spaces. Each programme begins with a detailed intake, includes breath-work (prāṇāyāma), posture practice (āsana), guided meditation, and lifestyle counsel rooted in Āyurveda.
Therapeutic Specialities
Each condition calls for a deeply specific, science-informed practice. These are the areas where therapeutic yoga has shown meaningful, measurable benefit.
Respiratory Disorders
Asthma, chronic bronchitis, sinusitis — breath work and prāṇāyāma sequencing to expand lung capacity and reduce inflammation.
Anxiety & Depression
Evidence-based yoga protocols for stress regulation, combining nervous system practices with meditative āsana.
Arthritis & Joint Pain
Gentle mobilisation sequences and anti-inflammatory lifestyle counsel for osteoarthritis, RA, and chronic pain.
Cancer Care
Gentle, personalized yoga to support recovery, reduce fatigue, enhance mobility, and improve overall well-being during and after cancer treatment.
Diabetes Management
Specific āsana sequences shown to improve insulin sensitivity, reduce HbA1c, and support healthy weight.
Spine & Posture
Scoliosis, disc herniation, lower back pain — therapeutic adjustments grounded in anatomical understanding.
Sleep Disorders
Yoga nidrā and restorative practices to re-establish healthy circadian rhythm and address insomnia at its root.
Women's Health
PCOS, menstrual irregularity, perimenopause — hormone-supportive practices rooted in Āyurvedic wisdom.
How I Work
Every healing journey follows a deliberate arc — from listening, to designing, to sustained transformation.
Deep Intake
A 60-minute conversation covering your medical history, lifestyle, daily rhythms, and therapeutic goals. No two intakes are alike.
Custom Design
A personalised practice is crafted — āsana, prāṇāyāma, meditation, and lifestyle adaptations — specific to your condition and constitution.
Guided Practice
Sessions at your home or online, with close attention to form, breath, and response. Progress is monitored and the practice evolves with you.
Sustained Growth
Monthly reviews, a self-practice toolkit, and ongoing guidance ensure your practice becomes a lasting part of your daily life.

After two years of managing Type 2 diabetes with medication alone, Avinash's programme brought my HbA1c from 8.4 to 6.9 in five months. The practice he designed was gentle, intelligent, and genuinely tailored to me.
I had chronic lower back pain for six years. Physiotherapy helped temporarily, but Avinash's therapeutic yoga addressed the root. Eight months later I am practically pain-free.
As a cardiac patient I was afraid to exercise. Avinash was careful, consulted my cardiologist, and built a practice that felt safe and life-giving. My resting heart rate dropped by 14 bpm.
